I was also able to switch plans once to a plan with lower fees on the root canal I needed. I tried to get a traditional individual dental insurance and I was running up against brick walls with the sign-up process and I was told I’d likely have to wait a year to get the plan activated. But what I found was that looking online was be far the superior method of hunting down a good dentist in my area. They are all discount dental plans which means you save up to 60% on your dental care at their listing of participating providers in your area. If seems that if you do not have a traditional insurance plan through your employer or work, you just simple do not have any type of coverage and you are stuck paying full price. I wanted a dentist that was affordable and of good quality. You only have one set of teeth and I didn’t want them negatively affected. Saving anything at a specialist is better than paying full-price I always say. The provider list was very comprehensive in my area and there were providers within 3 miles of my house and work. Without these plans, you are stuck paying ridiculous amount of money every time you visit regardless of what you are having done. |
